There
are LOADS of things that you can do to detox your home...
So,
without further ado, let's get down to business.
Open
up your windows.
Aim
to exchange all of the air from inside your home at least once a day.
Do
you have gas heaters? Are they flued? Are they well maintained?
Gas
heaters are particularly problematic if they are unflued.
They
give off gasses including carbon monoxide.
Carbon
monoxide? That rings a bell??
It
should. It is what car exhaust is full of – it is deadly.
If
you have an unflued gas heater, replace it immediately with one that
is flued.
Any
heating and/or cooling units need to be well-maintained. They need to
be serviced at least every two years, but you also need to regularly
clean the filters.
Make
sure that the return air vent and the vent that allows the clean air
in are also clean and unimpeded.
